Dress Code

El-Ber Islamic School enforces a certain dress code (school uniform) for the boys and girls. Parents must make sure that their children are sent to school in the proper attire, otherwise they will be subjected to disciplinary action.
The dress code is as follows:


PRE - K & K GRADES:

   Boys:
Light blue shirt and dark blue pants (or with a dark blue cardigan in the winter) with white socks and black shoes with velcro.

   Girls:
Pink shirt, dark blue jumper and pink khimaar covering the shoulders, with pink opaque stocking and black shoes with velcro.

1st to 5th GRADES:

   Boys:
White shirt and dark blue pants (or with a dark blue cardigan in the winter) with white socks and black shoes with black laces.

   Girls:
Dark blue jilbaab and white khimaar covering the shoulders, with white socks and black shoes.

   
Please make sure that your child's dress is neat and clean. Shorts, T-Shirts, jeans or hats will not be allowed at all. All coats and jackets should be hanged in the closets or lockers.

School Schedule

School hours are from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Please note that no student will be allowed in the school before 8:30 am or after 3:00 pm.
Parents must be at the school site 5 minutes before dismissal time to pick up their children. The school undertakes no responsibility for those students who arrive before 8:30 am or are being packed up after 3:00 pm. No student will be dismissed early unless the parent/guardian fills in an Early Dismissal Form at the office.

Grading Policy

Grades shall be assigned to indicate various competencies and skills achieved by the student during each semester. Standards for assigning value to student work vary according to school level.
